The ink vessel is mounted on a movable part of the recording instrument, and it can swivel about an axis. The ink supply device consists of an exchangeable ink vessel (6) and a case (1) which is adapted to hold it. The capillary tube to be connected to the ink vessel ends in the case, and the ink vessel wall has a hole through which the capillary tube passes when the vessel is inserted into the case. One ink vessel surface, pref. the top surface is made of highly flexible foil bag in order to blanace out air pressure in the vessel and outside it into the vessel and so fills it, that all the ink without residue can be drawn out through the capillary tube.
