NEW MATERIAL:The recombinant vector containing bovine alphaS1 casein chromosome gene promoter and human prourokinase gene integrated into a vector. USE:Production of human prourokinase. PREPARATION:A polymeric DNA is extracted from bovine liver and a chromosome gene library is prepared. A synthetic DNA probe corresponding to bovine alphaS1 casein chromosome gene is prepared and a clone having bovine alphaS1 casein gene is screened. The promoter and the 1st intron part are linked to human prourokinase cDNA and inserted into a proper vector.
