An appts. for measuring continuously the transfer between a substrate marked by a radioactive substance and an organic substance in particle form, has a ray counter beneath an incubation chamber. The bottom of the chamber is open and the counter is sepd. from it by a film preventing the passage of a liq. but permeable by beta rays. The incubation chamber has two zones. The lower is formed by a filter, the size of the pores of which is less than that of the particles towards which the transport of the substrate is to be measured. The upper zone acts as a receptacle for the radioactively marked substrate and the organic particles in their incubating environment. Where the B-ray detector is an unclosed gas counter, a film of a material impermeable to helium is fitted between the counter and the incubation chamber.
