An air diffusion flap for the closure of lines in ventilation systems has toothed discs (6) on the sides of the flap elements. Arranged between these toothed discs (6) and the frame of the air diffusion flap are annular sealing discs (7). The toothed rims of the toothed discs (6) protrude outwards and thus impede the functioning of the sealing discs (7). In order to rectify this, the annular sealing discs (7) comprise radial incisions (10). A non-incised annular strip (11) remains on the outside, with tabs (12) on the inside, which tabs (12) support the annular strip in a manner similar to spokes. <IMAGE>
