PURPOSE:To correct a scale factor during use by providing a constant angle forcible rotating mechanism and comparing a rotation angle arithmetic result based upon a vibration gyro output with the actual angle of rotation of a vibration gyro. CONSTITUTION:When acceleration is applied to the vibration gyro 1, the Coriolis output of the gyro 1 is inputted to an angular velocity arithmetic circuit 3, which calculates the angular velocity by integral arithmetic operation to output the angular velocity output to external equipment, etc., and a correcting circuit 4 in parallel. Then when the scale factor is corrected, the circuit 4 confirms that no angular velocity is applied to a moving body by a stop decision part 4a according to the angular velocity from the circuit 3 and operates the constant angle forcible rotating mechanism 2 to rotate the gyro 1 by a constant angle by the mechanism 2. Then the arithmetic part and memory 3b of the circuit 4 compare the rotation angle found by the arithmetic part from the angular velocity output from the circuit 3 with the constant angle of rotation of the gyro 1 by the mechanism 2 and corrects the circuit constant of the circuit 3 into the actual angle found by the circuit 4 according to the difference. |
