APPARATUS FOR FEEDING ORIGINAL PAPER

PURPOSE:To detect the rear end of an original paper precisely by fitting an original paper rear end stopping member on an original paper mounting part with intervals more than the space corresponding to the cut part of the original paper from an original paper top end detecting procedure. CONSTITUTION:The 1st detecting sensor 3 counts up the number of pulses up to the rear end of an original paper 1 and the feeding of the original paper 1 is stopped after the detection sensor 3 has been detected the rear end of the original paper and the number of stated pulses has been counted up. The number of stated pulses is defind by the number of pulses required for the distance between the standard position of a size plate 10 and the detection sensor 3. If the interval between the size plate 10 and detection sensor 3 is spaced more than the maximum cut quantity of the original paper, the detection sensor 3 can calculate the number of pulses corresponding to the interval until the rear end is sent to the size plate 10 after the detection sensor 3 has detected the top end. After completing the copying, the original paper 1 is discharged to the discharge tray 16.
