1340400 Weapon installation BLOHM & VOSS AG 15 Nov 1971 [14 Nov 1970] 52960/71 Heading F3C A unit 2, Fig. 1, comprises a weapon 3, a platform 4 and a compartment 6. The platform 4, having a flange 9, Fig. 3, is connected to the deck 5 via a support structure 8. The position of the platform 4 relative to the deck 5 is adjusted by screws 11 prior to the introduction of synthetic material 12 in liquid form. Flow of the latter is limited by a sealing strip 13 and, when the synthetic material 12 has solidified, the assembly is tightened together by screws 14. The supply connections to the ship are indicated at 7 in Fig. 1 and the individual components in the compartment 6 are provided with shock absorbers. |
