Condensation prod. of hexa:methylene di:isocyanate and acrylate - useful in bonding hollow fibres e.g. for haemodialysis

New prod. esp. useful in adhesion, is of formula (I) CH2=CH-CO2-(CH2)2-O-CONH-(CH2)6-NHCO-O-(CH2)2-O2C-CH=CH2 (I). It is prepd. by reacting hexamethylene diisocyanate with beta-hydroxyethyl acrylate, esp. in molar ratio 1:1.8-2.2. The cross-linked prod. (esp. by U.V.) and its use in bonding bundles of hollow fibres, partic. for use in a haemodialyser are claimed.
