<p>The machine consists of an elongated trough (11) in the form of a drum which is supported on a frame (14) by a number of springs or elastomer mounts (13). A number of unbalance weights are mounted on the bottom of the drum. The weights are rotated by drive motors. The unbalance weights which are mounted under the drum are subdivided into a number of smaller weights (23), which are equally divided over the length of the trough. The radial positions of the weights and the angle at which the drive shafts are mounted are adjustable. This enables the unbalance force and the direction of this force to be adjusted.</p> |
