BASIC BENZYLOXYALKYL DERIVATIVES

摘要

The new alkanes are of formula (I) (where X is H or halogen; R1 is 1-4C alkyl; R2 and R3 are 1-4C alkyl, or NR2R3 forms a heterocycle; n is 2 or 3). (I) and their salts are useful in steroid-free therapy of inflammatory and degenerative conditions of the osteomuscular system for relief of pain and inflammation. They have low toxicity, dosage being 100-300 mg/day, enterally or parenterally. A typical cpd. is 1-(p-chlorobenzyloxy)-1-(o-(beta(diethylamino)ethoxy)phenyl)-etha- ne.
