In the case of an axle bearing which can be adjusted in the direction of travel on a rail vehicle whose wheel sets are radially adjustable in bends, the roller bearing (2) rolls on a downwardly concave support face (7) with generated lines parallel to the axis during the adjustment movement of the axle bearing. In this process, the roller bearing (2) is guided in the axial direction by at least one wheel flange (4). The concave support face is attached to a spring carrier (6) which is guarded in axle holders (11, 12), the bogie frame (10) being mounted on the springs (8, 9) of the said spring carrier (6). This structure permits the adjustability of the wheel sets without a number of additional components subject to wear being required. <IMAGE> |
