PURPOSE:To contrive improvements in strength and cutting accuracy, by making use of a mold wheel which possesses flanges on both the sides and is provided with a holding groove of a tensile material in a circumferential surface, a flexible ring provided with a groove corresponding to a semi-cut surface of a circumferential direc tion of an O-ring and a mold wheel where a groove corresponding to the semi-cut surface is engraved in the circumferential surface. CONSTITUTION:Both the sides of a thick-walled disklike mold wheel 1 and its circumfer ential surface 3 are provided respectively with flanges 2, 2 and a groove 4 holding a tensile material such as a metallic wire. A flexible ring 8 provided with a groove corresponding to a semi-cut surface of a circumferential direction of an O-ring to be molded is wound round a flange recessed part 5 by being pressed against the same by a steel belt 10 and a molten polymer through an extruding machine 11 is cast into those grooves. In this instance, the annular tensile material 13 is wound round a holding groove beforehand in the circumferential surface of the mold wheel and a semi-cut matter 14 of the O-ring with flashes which is obtained by integrating the mold wheel and tensile material 13 is molded. With this construction, an O-ring belt with the built-in tensile material which is in an arbitrary length and endless is obtained without necessitating an individual die. |
