Bulb and root crop conditioning system - uses soil containers placed in succession in rooms with different climates

The system is for conditioning bulbs and root crops subjected to climatic change before or during growth. The bulbs etc are placed in containers filled with a nourishing soil of the best composition and moisture content for the particular crop. The containers are then placed in different rooms, where an adjustable climate is generated to suit the intended stage of growth. The containers are kept in each of the rooms until the optimum stage of development has been reached for each climate. The crop can first be placed in a room with a winter climate, and then in one with a summer one. The containers can have thin aluminium profiled sections forming the walls, and wooden bases and feet. The feet extend upwards, level with the container top, and below the bottom far enough to allow stacking, while leaving enough space for plant growth.
