Sensitive electromagnetic relay with two iron cores - has permanent magnet between cores and has control coil forming flat structure

The relay apparatus has a magnetic shunt and an armature which interacts with the two soft iron core pieces and a control coil. the two soft iron pieces (2, 3) are flat, U-shaped components. They hold the permanent magnet (1) between them at the base of the 'U' and the magnetic shunt (7) is accommodated at one side, with a spacer disc (12) at the other side. A flat structure is produced, with the movable armature (6) resting in its normal position on a limb of each of the soft iron pieces.
