The device to adjust a vehicle mirror to improve the driver's field of vision has an electromagnet mounted in the mirror casing. The casing is mounted on the vehicle bodywork, the electromagnet being operable by the driver. A magnetic plate is fixed to the rear of the mirror, and the mirror is hinged at its end nearer the vehicle body. A spring acts on each end of the mirror to bias it away from the magnet. The mirror thus has two possible fields of vision.
