摘要

The process for producing offset printing plates comprises rendering a roughened carrier hydrophilic, activating and catalysing the carrier on the printing side, one-sided coating of the carrier with a metal layer by means of a currentless reductive deposition process, treatment of the metal layer with a chromatisation solution and finally fixing of the metal layer by heat treatment. The process permits secure anchoring of the metal layer on the carrier, in particular a plastic carrier, and good adhesion of the photolayer to the metal layer.
