PURPOSE:To automatically adjust the thickness of an extruded material section, by providing the tip of an extrusion head with a tapered piece that can be slid forward and backward for changing the diameter of the die. CONSTITUTION:Paired upper and lower actuators 21a, 21c and paired left and right actuators 21b, 21d are provided at the tip of an extrusion head. When the upper actuator 21a is moved forward to push a tapered piece 20a and the lower actuator 21c is moved backward to pull the tapered piece 20a, the die 12 is moved upward. The reverse action moves the die 12 downward. Similarly, when the left actuator 21b is moved forward to push the tapered piece 20b and the right actuator 21d is moved backward to pull the tapered piece 20d, the die 12 is moved to the right. The reverse action moves the die 12 to the left. Thus by actuating the actuators 21a-21d, the diameter of the die 12 can be adjusted. |
