The electrode on the electrolyte (2a) gas measurement surface includes an output signal generating electrode (2b) produced by plating at least the closed end of the electrolyte. There is also an electrode (2c) collecting the output voltage, produced by a metal paste on a suitable point of the electrolyte (2a) outer surface and connected to the electrode (2b). There is further an electrode reinforcing device (2d), at least on the outer side of the electrode (2b). An inorganic porous layer (2c) is produced on the outer surface of the electrode reinforcement (2d).
