PURPOSE:To perform continuous printing with good image quality free of unevenness in density by reducing the power of the charge remover to decrease the sensitivity of the sensitive body for the first one or several copy sheets and thereafter raising the power for the other copy sheets. CONSTITUTION:After the correction button is pressed at the time power ON, setting the number of sheets to be printed to start the printing operation sets the control signal at the low level for the first sheet, with the second transistor 302 ON and the third transistor 303 OFF. If a charge remove signal Sv is given during the above condition of the control circuit, a current flows through resistor 304, the charge remover lamp 8, transistor 301, resistors 305 and 306 and transistor 302. This current is relatively large because the resistance of resistor 306 is small, allowing the charge remover lamp 8 to light brighter, and therefore reducing the sensitivity of the sensitive drum 2. |
