<p>The system is for fitting a wooden door- or window-frame with or without cavity wall slats, in a building outer wall. The prefabricated frames are packed whole in sheet material, the slats being fitted as desired. The complete unit is built into the wall, and when the building is complete the sheet, where visible, is removed. Shrinking sheet can be used, heated shortly before packing, or alternatively double-skinned sheet, with partitions between of the same material. The frame can be completely enclosed in either type of sheet., the slats being fitted on the outside.</p> |
