<p>The plough has a set of e.g. three ploughshares mounted along a frame (1). Connected to the frame is a length of tube (3) locked against a further section of tube by a pin (5). Both tubes are mounted on a spindle (2) and the pin passes through the rear tube into the spindle. A shoulder (4) between the two tubes keeps them in line, forming a joint strong enough to resist loads against them while in use. By removing the pin, the ploughshares can be tilted and again locked in position by the pin to give a different working height.</p> |
