Anti-theft device for motor-cycle crash helmet - has baseplate with lock formed on pivoted bracket which passes over chin guard

The motor cycle crash helmet anti-theft device consists of a base plate (1) fastened to a part of the machine which could be a luggage carrier tube (5). A bracket (2) provided with a lock (3) is hinged by a pivot pin (6) to the base plate. The bracket passes through the opening between the helmet lower edge and chin protector to lock into a catch (7) fixed to the base plate. The helmet can only be removed forcibly by destroying the chin guard.
