Underfloor cable duct adaptor system - has adaptor pieces with dimensions selected so that they fit inside ducts

The cable duct is of the type divided into two channels, one for power cables and the other for light current conductors, e.g. telephone wiring. As the duct lengths do not always fit exactly between junction points our outlets they have to be extended. The joining of two sections is achieved with an adaptor piece (27) whose overall cross-sectional dimensions (B, H) are chosen so that it will fit inside the duct. The adaptor has two inside wall sections (46, 47) spaced to leave a gap (48) into which the dividing wall in the duct will fit.
