<p>PURPOSE:To identify a cursor position not only in a plane but also in a depth direction by means of the emphatic displaying of a figure by emphatically displaying a graphic element in the vicinity of the cursor position according to the movement of the cursor. CONSTITUTION:A small three-dimensional part 13 including a cursor 11 is formed in the vicinity of the cursor 11. Various types of shapes such as a cube, a rectangular parallelopiped, a square pole, etc., can be used for the shape of the three-dimensional part 13. The contents of the figure processing determine the shape, and for the decision, by inputting a keyboard 23 by a cursor operator, longitudinal and lateral lengths and a height are designated.
