<p>1501038 Urea synthesis MITSUI TOATSU CHEMICALS Inc 20 Sept 1976 [22 Sept 1975] 38714/76 Heading C2C Urea is synthesized from ammonia and carbon dioxide using a molar ratio of ammonia to carbon dioxide of from 5 : 1 to 12 : 1, in a process in which the urea-synthesis effluent is pressurized and then heated in a separation zone to separate therefrom unreacted ammonium carbamate and excess ammonia in the form of a mixed gas of ammonia and carbon dioxide, and this mixed gas is recycled to the urea-synthesis zone.</p> |
