<p>The bottle cap consists of an exterior, rectangular cover (1) provided with two internal external annular projections (10, 11) and an interior circular sleeve (2) with a portion (4), which fits inside the bottle neck. The sleeve also has two spurs (3) which clip over ridges (8), disposed diametrically opposite on the bottle neck, which also has a lower ridge (9). The collar of the bottle (5) has conical ridges (14) and a shoulder (6). To seal the bottle, the cover is pressed down onto the sleeve forcing the spurs over the ridges. To release the cap, the cover and sleeve are rotated through 90 deg., this raises the cover w.r.t. the sleeve and places the spurs opposite spaces on the ridges and the lower internal projection of the cover under the edge of the sleeve thus allowing the cap to be lifted off.</p> |
