摘要 <p>A steam drier and superheater comprises a tubular enclosure connected to a superheating pipe. Satd. steam enters through one end of the tubular enclosure, in which there are means for deflecting the flow and extracting the liq. phase. The means of deflecting the flow are placed near the upstream end. They cause it to take the form of a single stream and impose a rotation, e.g. helicoidal, motion. The means of extraction are placed so as to collect the liq. phase which gathers on the wall of the enclosure, and to discharge it. Used in drying satd. steam from e.g. boiler, a nuclear reactor or a heat exchanger. Compared to existing drier/superheaters the appts. is more compact, carries out both operations of drying and superheating more efficiently and permits high flow rates with acceptable pressure drops.</p>
