Passive noise suppressing device - uses sealed volume of gas or vapour and adsorption means in thermodynamic balance

The passive noise suppressing device is used to prevent transmission or penetration of noise and it comprises a sound-transparent sealed enclosure, enclosing a volume of gas and/or vapour and solid adsorption means in thermodynamic balance. Pref. the gas and/or vapour and the adsorption means form a low enthalpy system, or a negative enthalpy system, e.g. comprising hydrogen and manganese. The solid adsorption means pref. have a high heat capacity for reducing the temperature effect of the system.
