The interlocking member strip for a slide fastener having a knitted stringer tape comprises two edge parts and a central part extending between the edge parts. Each edge part comprises at least three different patterns, such as fringes, tricot or body tricot and open satin. The central part consists of at least two of the at least three different patterns. At least one of the edge parts contains a stationary thread serving for reinforcement which is inserted in a slot between two stitch wales. A row of coupling members is sewn onto this reinforced edge part with threads which extend through the stationary thread. |
