Device for fastening one end of the flexible cable, carrying a terminal stop element H which is attached to it, to a movable member O intended to operate in conjunction with the cable C in a tensile force transmission relationship. With the cable C under tension, a shaped body 5 made from an anti-vibration material is compressed elastically in the direction of the cable C, and the said terminal stop element H of the cable C comes into abutment on the wall of the annular body 2 of the device, providing a tensile force transmission between the movable member O and the cable C. <IMAGE>
