PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition capable of solving the defects of an anti-aging agent containing an anti-aging active agent having an irritant effect and bringing a pain, an itchiness and a tension after applying the same. CONSTITUTION: This cosmetic and/or dermatological composition for the treatment of aging, contains, in a cosmetically or dermatologically acceptable medium, (A) at least one anti-aging active agent having an irritant effect, preferably anα-hydroxy acid, salicyclic acid and 5-n-octanoyl salicylate and (B) as a sedative, a ceramide of formula I [A is CH2 , formula II (R3 is H or CO-CHOHR2 ) or CH=CH; R1 is a saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched 10-26C alkyl; R2 is a saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched 12-32C alkyl; (n) is 0, 1], e.g. N-oleoyldihydrosphingosine or N-(α-hydroxybehenoyl)dihydrosphingosine. The content of the component (A) is 0.0001-20 wt.% and a weight ratio of (B/A) is in 0.0001-100000 range. |
