<p>Vessel filling is carried out with the medium in the gaseous condition, by connecting the cartridges with a vessel containing it in this condition, and in the same volume as is desired in the cartridge. The medium is typically maintained in this condition by keeping pressure and temperature constant. Before filling, the cartridge wall temperature can be brought to the same value as that of the medium in the vessel. The medium can be delivered to the vessel in the gaseous state by a compressor with a constant pressure control. The medium is supplied to the compressor from a liquid reservoir via an evaporator.</p> |
