<p>The mounting of a window in an opening in a wall or partition is suitable for e.g. boats or caravans. It uses a fraframe each side made of anodised aluminium members. Each member is identical in cross section, but those one side are mounted in the reverse direction from those on the other side. Each member has a thick portion. Thus, the wall can be gripped between a thick part, a thin part, and suitable sealing strips. The winding can be similarly gripped using e.g. a foam sealing strip. The thick portion has a T-slot to retain nuts which are engaged by suitable bolts.</p> |
