摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform dither processing in which a pseudo contour accompanying transition of gradation levels is not recognized while suppressing granularity in a mixed color image.SOLUTION: Quantization processing is performed by using a threshold Dth' mutually off-set for each color while using a common threshold matrix formed by placing an emphasis on dispersibility. Difference in dot pattern accompanying transition of gradation levels is made to be inconspicuous by performing the quantization processing in a threshold area where an offset value is not 0 concerning a black ink with which individual dots tend to be conspicuous.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
