Ammonium vanadate is prepd. from vanadium-contg. ores or slag. Finely divided ground vanadium-contg. ores or slags are mised with an alkali metal salt. The prod. is sintered at 900 degress C and 1300 degrees C and leached with layer. This is followed by precipitating ammonium vanadate, and recycling 45 degrees C-80 degrees C water which contains 15-50 g/liter ammonium. Waste water is in a proportion of 10-30% by weight of the finely ground vanadium-contg. ores or slags. |
