<p>The television screen display radar system uses a ground base to transmit from an omnidirectional area, a video picture of the ground plan on which navigation air traffic control instructions may be superimposed. The picture is formed on the vehicle, ship or aircraft and also provides route data and ground control orders. The system is complementary to the vehicles own radar network and receives data from this as well as the ground base.</p> |
