Electro-magnetic coupling has a toothed crown on which is located a series of magnetic conducting friction discs, on one side of which an armature is fitted, and on the other a housing fitted to the ferromagnetic bearing housing. Between the outer surface of the end part of the ferro-magnetic bearing housing (2) and the inner surface of the housing encompassing it, there is an air gap, whilst the fixture of the main housing (1) to the ferromagnetic bearing housing (2) is effected by a non-magnetic face welding seam (3). Bores are provided in the end part of the ferromagnetic housing in the region of the weld seam, through which lubricating oil is applied to the friction disc.
