<p>The sledge has a brake handle mounted in fornt of a seat, and thrusting a braking shoe against the surface over which the sledge travels. The surface of the shoe (2) runs in the lengthwise direction of the sledge. It can be mounted on a brake lever (3) extending in the lengthwise direction of the sledge near the seat. The forward end of the lever forms a grip, passing through a central lengthwise cushion arched upwards, and in which there can be a recess for the grip. The lever can be mounted in a metal bearing underneath the sledge, while there is a bearing support plate above the lever, accommodated in a recess.</p> |
