<p>In a device for cooling a resistive magnet (2), a coolant fluid (23) circulates in the magnet (2) in contact with coils (6, 7) at a much lower flow rate than in the prior art. For this purpose, the fluid (23) is injected into the magnet (2) in the two-phase state and absorbs the calories produced by the Joule effect by evaporation in an evaporator (8) constituted wholly or in part by the magnet (2).</p> |
