<p>The cardboard polyhedral container which is intended in particular to be a hexagonal drum for containing relatively large quantities of granular material, for example 35 to 225kg, is assembled from four separate pieces. All the pieces are made from cut cardboard blanks marked with fold lines. The four pieces include the main body of the drum which forms a hexagonal base and the six sides, a six sided reinforcing element which fits inside the drum a hexagonal reinforcing piece for the base of the drum and a hexagonal lid piece which fits over the drum when it has been filled, the contents being held in an inner separate sack.</p> |
