<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect the rotating direction and the abnormality in rotation readily by outputting pluses having the different lengths sequentially in correspondence with the rotating direction from a pulse generating part. CONSTITUTION:Reflecting plates 21 and 22 as rotation detecting bodies are formed of, e.g. released paper, double-side adhesive paper, an aluminum foil and a polyester film from the lower surface in the laminaing ditecion. A black color is printed on the surface of the polyester film in a fan shapes whose matting central angles are different in a release resisting way. The printed part becomes a non-reflecting part 23 which does not reflect light or absorbs light. The non-printed parts become reflecting parts 24 which have the sequentially different angles and mirror shapes and reflect light. A pulse generating part is formed with the non-reflecting parts and the reflecting parts 24. The pulses which are outputted from the rotation detecting bodies are read with a pulse reading means. The read-out pulses having the different lengths are inputted into a judging means. Whether the pulses are read out in the sequence of the specified rotating direction or not is judged. When the sequence is not the specified sequence, the fact of the abnormality is outputted from an abnormality detecting means.</p> |
