Measurement of wiring symmetry of cable strands - has separate plug units for earthing and breaking contact joints

Measurement of the wiring symmetry of the cable strands which are connected to a terminal block acting as a distribution unit. The terminal block has a number of parallel rows of terminal elements engaging connecting elements, joining two sets of leads. All the adjacent leads to be tested can be earthed and the individual joints can be disconnected. There are separate plug units which the used for earthing the strands to be tested or for operating the contact joints in the appropriate rows. They are built up into common plug-in modules for the remaining rows of contact elements and contact joints. The modules are made with a cone shaped insulated housing which separates the contact joints when plugged in to the appropriate hole.
