The small electrical contact consists of numerous contact surfaces connecting together two components (1, 2) - e.g. a printed circuit board and a liquid crystal display in a wristwatch. The contact surfaces are formed by C-shaped mutually-insulated metal arcs (6) lying parallel to one another on a long elastic former (9) made of insulating material. The arcs insulation is removed from the outer surfaces of the arcs on opposite sides of the contact to make the contact surfaces. The former may have a rectangular cross-section and the contact surfaces may be gold plated. In alternative configuration the arcs may be replaced by a continuous wire wound around the former.
