The device, for sealing off pressure from a ducting system, is used in a swimming-pool water circulation installation. The latter has a suction duct, with bottom outlet, leading to a filter plant, and further ducts between the latter and the pool intakes and/or outlets. The bottom outlet (2) and these further intakes or outlets (3, 4) have covers for pressure-tight closure from the outside atmosphere. The bottom outlet cover (21) is fitted with a connecting socket for a water pressure pump (9), while there is open passage from bottom outlet duct (20) to suction duct (7). One cover, at least, has a relief pressure valve. At the highest point there is a venting aperture.
