PROCESS OF SEPARATION OF ISOTOPES OF PALLADIUM IN ELECTROMAGNETIC SEPARATOR WITH USE OF ION SOURCE

production of highly enriched isotopes of palladium on industrial scale. SUBSTANCE: working medium-metal palladium is placed into graphite melting pot of ion source. It is heated to steamlike state with temperature of heating of melting pot and gaseous-discharge chamber being 1500-1700 C. Steams are ionized in gaseous- discharge chamber under action of electron emission from thermionic cathode. Ion beams are formed by electrodes of ion-optical system, are divided and focused in magnetic field. Ions are trapped with the aid of boxes of collector. On termination of process collectors are removed. Isotopes are removed by method of anode pickling. Enrichment by isotopes in percentage is: Pd-102= 85.4-92.9; Pd-104=96.6-98.4; Pd- 105= 98.4-99.1; Pd-106= 99.1-99.5; Pd-108=99.4-99.6; Pd-110=99.2-99.5. EFFECT: enhanced productivity of process. 1 tbl
