<p>Roofing tiles comprise a layer of thermally insulating foamed plastic with one face protected by a bonded layer of fibres impregnated with bitumen or tar and dressed on the exposed face with a mineral aggregate. The tiles are used for covering new roofs or overlaying damaged or uninsulated roofs. They provide an impermeable, weather resistant roofing which reduces differential temperature effects on the supporting structure.</p> |
