The sliding window or door metal frame profiles (4) with insulation breaks, are used where there are wings in offset planes, forming a symmetrically shaped hooking area. An intermediate batten (8), made of material with insulating qualities, is fitted between the hook-in profile (6) and frame face (7), fitting the hook-in profile. This has one extension stem piece (9), as a sealing counterpiece, lying against the frame face and protruding from the hook-in profile's covering zone. A second extension stem piece (10) is formed as covering for a run-in slope (11) on the hook-in profile.
