摘要

Partial removal of dye from textiles in the household comprises applying a dye remover to the textiles, and heating them with a hot iron until dye removal is complete. Pref. the textile material is covered on both sides with an airtight film which is resistant to chemicals and ironing, thus reducing access for atmospheric O2. The effective temp. should not exceed 100 degrees C. The use of the films protects the iron and ironing board from the dye remover. Process is rapid and simple.
