PURPOSE: A luggage management system is provided to ensure the safety of articles and the convenience of users by managing luggage using fingerprints of the users. CONSTITUTION: An LED display unit(10) displays information from a main server(60) to a user(30). The user inputs a fingerprint into an input sensor(40), and the input sensor transmits a detected fingerprint data into a buffer(50). The buffer transmits the data into the main server. The main server outputs a control signal for opening/closing into a locking device(90), and displays a detected result or error into the LED display unit. The locking device is automatically opened or closed in response to the control signal from the main server. A UPS(80) supplies power to the main server and the locking device at the blackout.
