PURPOSE: A device for locking a lid of a heat shield plate for an engine room of a large scaled bus is provided to easily check out a locking state of the lid with the naked eye and prevent the releasing of the lid due to an external force such as the vibration of a vehicle body. CONSTITUTION: A device for locking a lid of a heat shield plate for an engine room of a large scaled bus includes a rod(5) freely rotating with respect to a hinge pin mounted at an end, wherein the rod is inserted into or deviated from an indent portion(8) of a plate spring(7) and the plate spring is bent and supported by a bracket(6).
